As a profession, educators aren’t always “nuts” about change. However, the issue of change is gathering momentum since the approval of nine motions by the Kansas State Board of Education on February 13, 2008. The motions don’t contain specific details or timelines for implementation but the “meat” of the issue is the redesign of schools based on the needs of industry and economic development.
